Creative Misfits Writing Group

Are you a writer who is looking to connect with other writers? Well, you’ve come to the right place. On Twitter, you can go over to the misfit’s page https://twitter.com/creativemisfit_ and follow our account. We talk about the writing process, publication information, marketing, audience, and we have a rad time together.

Looking to join a book club, we have that too. Several of our members participate and we’ll be reading published works in a designated genre. This month, we are reading Frost Blood by the lovely Elly Blake. She’s been supportive and is delighted that we’ve chosen her book for the month of January.

Not interested in the book club? No worries, not everyone has to. We are a free and open group.

Blake’s Frostblood is our January Book of the month.

Are you looking to find support for your published works? We are a supportive group and love to praise our writers by buying their books and leaving reviews. Well, I do. We have writers of all levels in our group. Some who are unpublished, some who are. The important thing to remember is there is always time to get your book out there in the publishing world. Here are a couple books from our group.

Our Group Member RJ Zarkani’s poetry collection is a must read.
Caleb Wright’s adventure story about dragons and formed friendships is a fun read leaving you wanting more.

Are you looking for a place to ask questions, vent, joke around, and be yourself? Well, we have an open and running DM chat that is welcomed to those who want to join our lively gang. We recommend you mute notifications for the sake of your phone/tablet/i’Pad battery. There are many time zones and people talking at different hours of the day.

Personally, I’ve been a member of this group for a few weeks. I’ve met amazing poets, writers, artists, and well rounded amazing human beings. Writing can be daunting and stressful. It doesn’t mean you have to suffer alone. There are amazing people willing to help you on your journey.

I hope you’ll consider joining us on the amazing path to publication. Writing can be fun and inspiration is everywhere. Feel free to join our group on Twitter and message us if you are interested in joining our chat.

Happy Friday!
