December is already here! How did that happen? I feel like this year went by way too fast. The beginning of the year crawled slowly into spring. Summer was hot and felt full of events and fun. As soon as September hit and I had surgery, the rest of the year shot by. I’m thankful for the year ending, but I just feel the older I get the faster it all goes by.
I have so many plans for December including blogmas, book reviews, recipe reviews, and some hobbies that I want to share with you. I’ve been doing a lot of learning this year and I’ll be posting some of those things coming up in December and the new year. For now, there are short-term goals that I want to share with you.
I haven’t had many takers on the whole guest post thing, but I know a couple of people I can reach out to who will have my back. If not, I’ll always change the topic and add in things that I wanted to. I’m excited to share more of Bea’s story with you. If you read part one last year, look out for part two this year.
The kids are growing and learning and I want to share some of their hard work. It has paid off and they have enjoyed it so much. I will have a photo collage of the year of our family and what we have done this year. That will be fun for the memory bank.
I plan to post daily and I’m trying to write some of those now so I won’t be stuck on the computer scrambling to get it all done. Don’t worry, I’ll figure out the best way to handle it all.
If you read my TBR post, you will see the list of books that I plan on reading for the end of the year. I plan to continue to do my book reviews for each of them. I’m also taking requests for reading your books, in exchange for a copy of your book. I post on Goodreads, Amazon, my website, and other platforms on request. Let me know, if I have time in the new year, I’d be happy to do it.
I’ve been trying to learn how to cook and bake with skills that I haven’t possessed. It’s fun to try new things and to share it all with you. If you have bariatric-friendly recipes that I can try, please share them. I’ll be doing more of these soon. Cooking calms me and gives me a sense of organization and order. I feel Zen when I’m chopping and I don’t even mind doing dishes anymore, hand washed of course. I look forward to sharing that with you.
This year, I have taken on some hobbies and learned things that I want to share with you. To give you a glimpse of things to come, you will find topics like herbs, gardening, scrapbooking, genealogy, canning, fermenting, and plant medicines. I’ve learned a lot after finding things that interested me. I look forward to sharing my experiences, failures, and showing you that even if you aren’t good at things, you can still have fun trying.
These are my goals for December. I will have a more detailed post about what I plan to do next year, but for now, these are what you can look forward to. I hope this month brings you blessings, productivity, family, fun, and adventure. May the hard times be short and the good times last.
Until Next Time,
